유치원 교육의 지역화를 위한 대학과 지역교육청 및 유치원 간 협력 방안 모색 = The Collaboration of Universities, School Districts, and Kindergartens in Order to Localize the Early Childhood Education

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 유치원교육의 지역화를 위하여 대학과 지역교육청 및 유치원이 협력할 수 있는 방안을 모색하기 위한 것이었다. 이를 위하여 교육의 지역화 및 협력 관련 문헌을 고찰하고, 교수, 장학사, 교사를 대상으로 지역화를 위한 협력의 필요성과 방향 및 내용 등에 대한 요구를 조사하였으며, 1개의 대학, 지역교육청, 유치원에서의 협력사례를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 유치원교육의 지역화를 위한 협력이 이루어지기 위해서는 먼저 구성원 간에 지역화의 개념 및 방향에 대한 공유와 상호 존중하는 관계 속에서 주체적으로 발전해간다는 의식과 실천이 기반이 되어야 한다. 가능한 한 인근지역의 교수, 장학사, 교사가 함께 협력 팀을 구성하되 지역화를 위한 협력의 내용에 따라 팀 구성은 달라질 수 있으며. 협력이 원활히 이루어지기 위해서는 각 기관의 문화를 조정해줄 수 있는 연결자와 구성원 모두의 주도성, 힘의 공유, 상호 학습 등이 필요하다. 협력의 초기에는 지역화를 위한 특정 내용에 대해 깊이 있게 협력하려하기보다는 그때그때 필요한 내용에 대해 서로 원하는 답을 얻는 방식으로 시작하여 점차 (폭을 좁혀*삭제) 심도 있게 나아가는 것이 바람직하다. 유치원교육의 지역화는 각 지역의 특성에 따라 달라질 수 있기 때문에 기본적인 틀을 기반으로 하되 다양성을 존중하는 방향으로 이루어져야 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted in order to search a solution that universities, school districts, and kindergartens could collaborate for the localization of early childhood education. For this purpose, review of literature on localization of education and collaboration and need assessment of professors, supervisors, and early childhood teachers on importance and direction of collaboration for localization were examined. One case of collaboration with a university, a school district, and a kindergarten was also analyzed.
According to the research, for the collaboration of localized early childhood education to succeed, the understandings on the concept and direction of collaboration and the awareness of initiative involvement among the participants should be founded. The collaboration team consists of professors, supervisors, and early childhood teachers, but the team members can differ according to their content of collaboration. For the collaboration to be smooth, leadership, ownership, sharing power, and mutual learning among team members are needed. The facilitator is also necessary to control the culture of each organization. At the beginning of collaboration, rather than collaborating in depth of a certain topic, starting with getting answers when needed and gradually narrowing down to a deeper subject is more desirable. Since the localization of early childhood education can be altered according to the various local characteristics, a basic form should be the foundation while the diversity is esteemed.
