사회적 지지가 노인의 노화불안에 미치는 영향 : 우울, 노화대처의 이중매개 효과검증

Multifaceted exploration of the factors influencing the aging Anxiety this study identifies the impact of social support aging anxiety in the elderly, and social support through a double-mediated effects verification of depression and coping for aged in the relationship on the elderly in aging Anxiety the solution sought for the social and personal level for the aged of anxiety and through it for the purposes of this study. Theoretical basis for this study are Social Breakdown Theory, The Support / Efficacy Model, The SPACE model. For this study, in 2014, Yonsei University Graduate School of Social Work and Welfare Center in Seoul was using data "Studies on the quality of life of the elderly" conducted in the Institute vibrant future. The subjects to reside in Seoul 65 years or older to use the welfare, of the survey was to analyze a total of 303 targets. For the research question and hypothesis testing were dual effect mediated through the program SPSS 21.0 and SPSS Macro Process v.2.13.
The major findings of the research are presented as follows. There are negative relations in Social support on depression, the depression to coping for aged, coping for aged to aging anxiety. But social support did not have a direct impact on seniors aging anxiety. However, as a result verify the double mediating effect of depression and coping for aged to the process from social support to aging anxiety. Individual mediated effect was also found that the effect is to verify the results.
One based on the identified result, and the implications of this study is suggested as follows.
Implications of the study was to complement the first, through the study of aging anxiety and lack of social awareness about existing social welfare field study of aging anxiety. Second, specifically through verification of the nature and the role of social support, stressing the importance of social support in the elderly. Third, social support by verifying the dual role of mediating effect of depression and coping for aged, found the concept of the relationship clearly. Fourth, through the concept of coping for aged, in the aging nervous he emphasized the importance of personal responsibility, the role of the elderly.
Suggestions to the first, in order to resolve the anxiety of aging seniors got involved as social support, provision of social support for your old man's characteristics will be important. Second, there are active efforts to solve the aging anxiety and positive attitudes of the elderly themselves would be important. Third, this study is conducted to study targeted the elderly because the elderly's welfare as expanding the use of the results of this study may be limited by the total elderly. Fourth, the follow-up study, through the verification of the various paths between the verification path in addition to the variable in this study, social support, aging, coping for aged could be verified in a more multifaceted relationship.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회적 지지가 노인의 노화불안에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 사회적 지지가 노인의 노화불안에 미치는 관계에서 우울과 노화대처의 이중매개효과 검증을 통하여 노화불안에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 다각적 탐색과 이를 통한 노화불안에 대한 사회적·개인적 차원의 해결방안 모색을 본 연구의 목적으로 한다. 이를 위한 이론적 토대로 사회와해이론(Social Breakdown Theory), The Support/Efficacy Model, The SPACE Model을 사용하였다. 본 연구를 위해서 2014년 연세대학교 사회복지대학원과 서울 노인복지센터 활기찬 미래연구소에서 수행된 『노인의 삶의 질에 관한 연구』 데이터를 활용하였다. 연구대상은 서울시에 거주하며 복지관을 이용하는 65세 이상 노인으로, 조사대상 중 총 303부를 분석대상으로 하였다. 연구문제 및 가설검증을 위해 SPSS 21.0 프로그램과 SPSS Macro Process v.2.13을 통해 이중매개효과를 분석하였다.
분석결과, 사회적 지지는 우울에, 우울은 노화대처에, 노화대처는 노인의 노화불안에 각각 부적 영향을 미쳤으나, 사회적 지지는 노인의 노화불안에 직접적 영향을 미치지는 않았다. 그러나 사회적 지지가 노화불안에 미치는 영향에서 우울과 노화대처의 이중매개효과를 검증한 결과에서는 매개효과가 있음으로 검증되었다. 개별 매개효과들 또한 검증결과 효과가 있음으로 밝혀졌다.
밝혀진 결과를 바탕으로 한, 연구의 함의 및 제언은 다음과 같다.
연구의 함의로는 첫째, 노화불안에 대한 연구를 통해 기존의 노화불안에 대한 사회적 인식 및 사회복지분야 연구의 부족함을 보완했다. 둘째, 사회적 지지의 특성과 그 역할에 대한 구체적 검증을 통해 노인에게 있어서의 사회적 지지의 중요성을 강조했다. 셋째, 사회적 지지가 노인의 노화불안에 미치는 영향에서 우울과 노화대처의 이중매개역할을 검증함으로, 개념들의 관계성을 명확히 밝혀냈다. 넷째, 노화대처의 개념을 통해, 노화불안에 있어 노인 개인의 책임·역할의 중요함을 강조했다. 제언으로는 첫째, 노인의 노화불안의 해결을 위해 사회적 지지를 개입함에 있어, 노인의 특성에 맞는 사회적 지지의 제공이 중요할 것이다. 둘째, 노화불안의 해결에 있어 노인 스스로의 적극적인 노력과 긍정적 태도가 중요할 것이다. 셋째, 본 연구는 노인복지관 이용 노인을 대상으로 진행된 연구이기에 본 연구의 결과를 전체 노인으로 확대함에 있어 한계가 있을 수 있다. 넷째, 후속연구에서는 본 연구에서 검증한 경로 이외에도 변수 간 다양한 경로의 검증을 통해, 사회적 지지, 노화불안, 우울, 노화대처라는 변수간의 관계에 있어 보다 다각적 검증이 가능할 수 있을 것이다.
