초산부의 어머니 역할 이미지에 대한 연구 = The Image of Mother's Role of Expectant Mothers

국문 초록 (Abstract)

부모기로의 전환을 돕기 위한 예비부모 교육프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 수집하기 위하여 142명의 초산부훌 대상으로 그들의 어머니 역학 이미지를 설문조사 하였다. 임신시기, 부모됨의 동기, 임신에 대한 정서적 반응, 어머니 역할에 대한 자신감 수준, 되고 싶은 어머니의 구체적인 모습, 어머니됨의 준비여부와 내용, 어머니 역할의 수행에 영향을 끼칠 것으로 예상되는 요인, 어머니 역할 수행 시 어려울 것으로 예상되는 요인, 희망하는 사회적 지원의 유형을 어머니 역할 이미지의 내용으로 선정하여 조사한 결과 초산부들은 자신의 어머니 역할에 대해 전반적으로 긍정적인 이미지를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 연구 대상자들은 자연적 섭리에 따라 자녀를 갖기를 바라고, 자녀 중심적인 입장에서 어머니 역할을 기대하였으며, 자녀의 정서적 발달을 중요시하면서 이를 충족시켜 줄 수 있는 어머니를 이상적인 어머니로 생각하였다. 그리고 초산부들은 그들의 사회경제적 수준, 교육수준, 연령, 임신개월수에 따른 차이 없이 대체로 유사한 어머니 역할 이미지를 갖는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to investigate expectant mother's image of mother role during pregnancy. The subjects are 142 expectant mother in yosu, chunnam. The data are collected by questionnair method and analyzed by prequency, percentage, and χ².
The major findings are as follows:
1) Most of subjects are pregnant their first baby within 1 year from the marriage, and the motivation for parent is natural inclination of the Veevers's social meaning of parenthood.
2) The Emotions of pregnancy and becoming mother is ambivalent. Most of subjects are pleasant but worry about it at the same time.
3) The subjects expect that they worry about their mothers role implementation , generally they will do it well.
4) The mothers role what the subjects think important is that take care of their children with affection and manage their children healthy.
5) The image of mother that subjects want to be is the person who is friend like and who can afford to love.
6) The factors effected mother's role implementation are children's character and mother's personality.
7) The expected most difficult thing after parenthood transition is making dicision of choice and taking a responsibility as a mother.
8) The patterns of social support that subjects think most needed is a information of child rearing and a emotional support.
Generally, the subjects has a positive image and image of mother was not different from their age, income, education, and month of pregnance.
