The patiren, 53 year old male was admitted to Dept. of Oral & Maxillofacial Sugery, Chosun University Hospital with complaint of longstanding tumor mass in the left buccal mucosa.
The radical excision and irradiation therapy was performed.
1. The primary site of mucoepidemoid carcinoma was the left buccal mucosa which was known as common site.
2. There was no evidence of neural invasion, destruction of surrounding bone, and also no evidence of metastasis to lung or cervical lymphnode.
3. Postoperative complication were not seen.
4. On the basis of histopathologic finding, it seems, it seems that prognosis will be good, but follow-up over the years should be required.
