      The purpose of this study is to determine what macro environment factors influence performance of hotel rooms division and to present ways for successful business strategy. Economic environment and global environment were selected for macro environment factors as explanatory variables; and rooms revenue, rooms occupancy rate and revenue per available rooms were selected for performance of hotel rooms division as dependent variables. And seasonal variables, SARS and 2002 World Cup were used as dummy variables. Unit root test and cointegration test were conducted for stationary examine of time series data. And GLS was used for model estimation after conducting a stepwise for extraction non-multicollinerity. This study found economic environment, which including Consumer Sentiment Index, US exchange rate and japanese exchange rate influences performance of hotel rooms division. Global environment, which including number of foreign business visitors and foreign tourists influences performance of hotel rooms division. And Seasonal valuables, SARS and 2002 World Cup influences performance of hotel rooms division. Therefore, decision-makers of hotel industry should perceive that the influence and change of macro environment to establish successful business strategy.
