한국형아유르베다 심리유형을 활용한 치유정원디자인 방안 연구 = A Study on Using Korean Ayurveda Psychology Type for Healing Garden Design

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국형아유르베다 심리유형을 활용한 치유정원디자인 방안 연구를 하였으며 이는 한국형아유르베다의 기본심리유형 교육프로그램의 이론적인 고찰 연구로 접근하였고 치유정원과 정원교육체험 논문 및 문헌을 연구하고 분석하였다. 연구결과 바타형은 치유의 감정적 반응은 교감이며, 커뮤니케이션 치유의 회복환경은 일상으로부터의 ‘벗어남’, 미학적인 즐거움을 주는 ‘매혹감’으로 사료된다. 쾌적성, 커뮤니케이션의 치유경험이 필요할 것으로 사료되어 ‘심미성’과 ‘실용성’을 염두하고 치유정원디자인이 되어야 한다. 피타형은 치유의 감정적 반응은 몰입과 확장으로 보이며 회복환경은 물리적 심리적 ‘넓이감’으로 정원을 좀 더 실용인 공간으로 확장하여 디자인 해야 될 것으로 보인다. 카파형은 치유의 감정적 반응이 이해이며 사색을 즐겨하는 성향으로 보아 프라이버시가 중시되는 공간을 선호할 것으로 예측된다. 회복환경은 개인이 하고자하는 활동과 환경의 ‘적합성’이 우선으로 고려되어야 한다. 또한 정원의 ‘심미성’ 측면을 적극 활용하여 치유정원디자인이 되어야 할 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 한국형아유르베다 심리유형을 활용한 치유정원디자인 방안에 대한 의의를 제안하였으며 향후 연구로 한국형아유르베다 기본심리유형별 치유정원디자인교육의 학습동기에 대하여 연구할 필요성이 있겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study sought to link the Korean Ayurveda psychological type with the healing garden design. Approached as a theoretical study of the basic psychological type of Korean Ayurveda educational program, numerous research on trends in literature related to recovery environment, healing environment, and garden healing experience are analyzed. ‘Korean Ayurveda’ utilizes basic Korean Ayurveda psychological type which is developed and standardized by Humind Laboratory. As a result of the study, the emotional response of the ‘Vata’ type of healing is through sympathy. The recovery environments of communication healing are the ‘sense of escape’ from daily life and ‘enchantment’ through aesthetic pleasure. Considering the necessity of comfort, communication, and expanded space, the garden should be mindfully designed with ‘esthetic’ and ‘practicability’. The ‘Pitta’ type demonstrates an emotional response to healing as immersion. The recovery environment should be practically designed as a garden that provides physical and psychological “sense of spaciousness” and aesthetic pleasure through ‘fascination’. The ‘Kapha’ type’s emotional response to healing is understanding. With a tendency to enjoy contemplation, it is predicted that privacy emphasized spaces will be preferred. The recovery environment should prioritize ‘suitability’ of individuals’ personal activities and environment. In addition, it should be designed by leveraging the ‘esthetic’ aspect of a garden. This study suggests the significance of the connection plan between the Korean Ayurveda psychological type and the healing garden design. As a future study, the necessity of comprehending the learning motives of healing garden design education for each basic type of Korean Ayurveda psychology is emerging.
