상업가로 가로환경요소에 대한 인지 및 D:H 비율이 가로만족도에 미치는 영향 연구 = 가로수길, 대학로길, 정자동 카페거리를 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 가로의 각기 다른 D:H 비율 및 보행자의 가로환경요소에 대한 인지가 가로만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아본 연구이다. 이를 위해 수도권 내 대표적 상업가로로 각기 다른 D:H 비율을 갖고 있는 가로수길(1:1.5), 대학로(4:1), 정자동(1:4) 3곳을 대상지로 선정하였다. 보행자의 가로환경요소인지를 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 다중회귀분석을 통하여 가로만족도와 D:H 비율, 보행자의 가로환경요소인지의 영향관계를 파악하였다. 그 결과 D:H 비율은 유의미 하지 않게 나타났으며, 가로환경요소인지 중 가로수, 테라스형 상점, 상점 접근성 및 활용, 노상판매, 보행 시 쾌적함 등과 같은 항목은 유의하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 보행자들이 가로를 걸으면서 가로환경요소에 대해 본인이 직접 보고 느끼는 것에 대한 인지가 가로만족도에 영향을 줄 수 있다고 볼 수 있다. 그 이유는 각 요소에 대한 호불호는 그 요소에 대한 개인별 인지로부터 시작되기 때문이라 판단된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examines effects of the D:H ratio and the Pedestrians’ Perception of Street Environment Elements (PPSEE) on street satisfaction. Garosu street(1:1.5), Daehakro street(4:1), and Jungjadong cafe street(1:4), which are typical commercial streets with different D:H ratio in Seoul, were selected for this investigation. We surveyed people on each street to analyze the effects of the D:H ratio and the PPSEE on street satisfaction through multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the D:H ratio has no effect but street trees, stores with terraces, accessibility and utilization of stores, street markets, and comfortable walking affect street satisfaction. These results indicate that street satisfaction improves when PPSEE is improved as pedestrians walk along the street because the likes and dislikes to each element is determined through individual perception.
