인터넷 상에서 이미지기반 가상현실구현에 관한 고찰 : Zoomifyer를 중심으로 Focused on Zoomifyer = A Study on the Realization of Virtual Reality using Image on the Internet

국문 초록 (Abstract)

초고속통신망 보급으로 인터넷 사용자들이 급증하고 있는 추세이다. 이러한 증가는 가상현실 분야의 발전도 함께 하고 있음을 짐작케 한다. 특히 이미지기반 VR 기술을 활용한 가상 쇼핑몰, 가상 모델하우스, 가상 교육, 오락 등 직접 실생활에서 접할 수 있는 것들이 속속 등장하고 있다. 이러한 증가 추세는 기존의 가상현실을 구현하기 위해서 따르는 고가의 하드웨어, 특수장비의 필요성 때문에 어려움이 있었으나 이제는 일반 PC환경에서 제작과 구현이 쉽게 가능하기 때문일거라 생각된다. 이러한 이유로 이미지기반 VR 기술이 효과적인 가상현실 구현 기술로 자리잡아 가게 될 것이다.
본 연구는 이미지기반 VR 기술의 의미를 알아보고 이 기술의 특징과 기술, 원리 등에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 기술을 업체별로 비교분석하여 사용자들에게 도움을 주고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Increase of Internet users is due to diffuse a superspeed communication network throughout the country. Such the trend of increase can conjecture the development of virtual reality rapidly. Especially, the technology of virtual reality using image can be applied various areas such as virtual shopping mall, virtual mode house, virtual education and entertainment that will be appear in succession in real life. It is quite difficult to materialize the virtual reality due to a costly hardware, a special equipment.
However, it can be possible to produce and materialize virtual reality easily in the universe PC environment. The technology of virtual reality using image will be settled one of the most effective technology.
The purpose of this research is to support to understand the meaning of the virtual reality technology, the feature and the principle. Also the comparative analysis is to help the users to make right selection.
