    春亭 卞季良의 敎化詩 一考察

    This paper was edifyingly researched about the representative Confucian scholar Choonjeong(春亭) Byeongyeryang(卞季良) in the early years of the Chosun Dynasty. The reason why the Choonjeong Byeongyeryang’s edification poetry received attention is that his literatures have the literature’s characteristic in a transition period(過渡期的) as the transition in the end of the koryo dynasty and early chosun dynasty(麗末鮮初) claiming the confucian confucianism and the typical example to herald the literary’s switch of early chosun dynasty(鮮初).
    The office’s representative civil service’s basic primary tasks to induce the sense of unity and the obedience of retainers and people(臣・民) in the early chosun dynasty was the policy of cherishing agriculture(重農政策) for living’s stability of farmers with the policy of loving people on a democratic basis and the policy of edification of Confucianism(敎化儒敎) emphasizing edification(敎化) based on the basic ideology of Neoconfucianism.
    Choonjeong wrote a lot of poetries of edification in the collection of his work by practicing this policy of edification. It was partitively searched such as the edification poetry for the awakening of sovereign, the edification poetry for Scholar-gentry class’s the attitude and duty and the edification poetry for inspiring the sense of loving people and so on in his poetries. It can be said that the sense of enlightenment through Choonjeong’s edification poetry such of type played an important role for the establishment of the piping times of peace as handling public unrest at the tumultuous period to replace from the koryo dynasty to the chosun dynasty and making an attempt at social general stability.
    Eventually, the edification poetry(敎化詩) of Choonjeong could make sense with the enlightening literature(啓蒙的) of intellectuals at the change of the dynasty (王朝交替期) to pray for new personal rights with the existing world’s revolution and the confucian personal rights by embracing Neo-confucianism( 性理學). His poem world is considered to come from these historical backgrounds as the literature in the age of innovation in the end of the koryo dynasty and early chosun dynasty has Confucainism oriented characterize.
    Moreover, as earlier times to harden countenance with academic line (學脈) and the Sarim party’s scholars entered central national institution after the reign of Seongjong(成宗代), it can come to emerge as the meaning to conceive the Sarim party’s philosophy to development to future generations as the first of the Sarim party’s scholars.
