스포츠현상의 가치 상대주의와 사회철학적 제문제

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 스포츠현상에서 발생하는 가치상대주의적 현상과 결과들이 어떻게 표출되고 있으며 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 사회철학적 해법은 무엇인지를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 새로운 환경의 변화에 따른 관점과 해석이 새로운 가치를 표출하게 된다는 측면에서 접근한 이 연구는 절대적 진리에 따른 독단주의를 경계하면서 가치의 다원화에 초점을 두었다. 가치의 보편성도 중요하지만 사회적 환경의 이해를 기반으로 하는 해석 역시 중요하다는 입장이다. 이러한 관점을 바탕으로 가치 상대주의의 사회철학적 문제로 일곱 가지를 제시하였다. 각각의 대립되는 가치의 충돌은 스포츠현상에서 일반적으로 나타난다. 하지만 어느 한편의 가치가 보편적으로 옳다고 평가하기에는 사회적 환경이 급변하고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 스포츠 현상의 가치 상대주의적 접근은 타당성이 존재한다. 그 사회에서 존재하고, 인식되면서 전수될 가치가 있는 스포츠현상에 주목하여야 한다는 것이다. 하지만 가치의 보편성을 저해할 수 있다는 측면에서 염려가 되는 것은 사실이지만 규범적인 체계와 사실의 상대주의를 지향하는 것은 아니기 때문에 가치상대주의는 오늘날 긍정적으로 인식될 수 있을 것이다. 즉 평가의 주체는 다르지만 객관적 사실은 존재하기 때문이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research aims to determine how the value relativism phenomenon created in sports phenomena and its results are expressed and to reveal what would be the socio-philosophical solution to these problems. This research, which approached in the assumption that perspective and analysis following the changes in the new environment create a new value, focused on diversification of value while being aware of dogmatism based on absolute truth. Universality of value is important, however, analysis based on the understanding of the social environment is important as well. In this perspective, six matter were suggested as socio-philosophical issues of value relativism. The collision between conflicting values are common in sports phenomena. However, the social environment is changing too rapidly to judge which value is universally proper. Creating new value and cultural diversity is an important task. In this aspect, approaching sports phenomena in value relativism has validity. It is to pay attention to sports phenomena which exists in the society and has value to be recognized and passed on.
