음악치료사의 직업정체성에 관한 현상학적 연구 = A Phenomenological Study on the Professional Identity of Music Therapists

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 음악치료사가 가지는 직업정체성의 본질과 의미를 탐구하기 위한 목적으로 실행되었다. 본 연구의 참여자들은 모두 10명으로 음악치료를 전공한 석사 이상의 학위수여자이면서, 음악치료 임상경력 10년 이상으로 다양한 기관에서 근무하고 있는 음악치료사들을 대상으로 하였다. 연구 결과 Giorgi의 현상학적 분석방법에 따라 연구자가 도출한 의미단위는 총 563개이며 의미단위 요약은 134개가 도출되었다. 이후 이를 바탕으로 공통적인 경험의 본질이라고 판단되는 15개의 하위구성요소와 4개의 구성요소가 최종적으로 도출되었다. 본 연구를 통하여 도출된 4개의 구성요소는 ‘음악치료사의 철학’, ‘음악치료 기술과 지식’, ‘전문적 참여행동’, ‘음악치료사의 직업태도’로 나타났다. 본 연구는 음악치료사의 고유한 직업정체성을 개념화하는데 기초자료를 제공할 수 있으며, 음악치료사가 자신의 직업정체성을 확립하고 음악치료 전문가로 성장해 나가는데 필요한 지침마련에도 활용될 수 있다는데 의의가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to explore essence and meaning of the professional identity of music therapists. The participants were 10 music therapists with a master s degree higher who majored in music therapy, more than 10 years of clinical experience, and music therapists working in various institutions. As a result of using the phenomenological method of Giorgi, 563 meaning units and 134 summaries of the meaning units were generated. Based on them, 15 subcategories and 4 categories were identified. There were ‘music therapist’s philosophy’, ‘music therapy skills and knowledge’, ‘professional engagement behaviors’, and ‘music therapist’s work attitude’. This study is meaningful in that it can be used to provide basic data of conceptualization for the unique professional identity and to prepare guidelines to grow up to be an expert and establishment of the professional identity.
