Stated Preference 방법을 통한 의료생협 보건교육 서비스에 대한 선호도 분석 = Exploring consumer’s preferences for health education in medical cooperatives using stated preference method

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study used a stated preference method to test whether provision of health education service matters when people choose their preferred medical cooperative types in the city of Gangneung. To conduct this study, five possible characteristics of the new medical cooperative and their levels were considered to generate all the possible alternatives of medical cooperatives. Then the number of medical cooperative alternatives were reduced to sixteen by a partial factorial experimental design. Lastly, the sixteen alternatives were paired without duplication and replacement to make sixteen choice question set. The survey questions were presented to 214 respondents. The results from the choice decisions were recoded and analyzed by conditional logit model. The results from the estimation of the conditional logit models reveal that people prefer medical cooperatives with multi-medical departments, with preventive medical check-up service, and with doctor's visiting service while aged people show indifference with regard to the provision of health education service. This result implies that it is hard to attract aged people to health education service in hospitals.
