회재 이언적의 도학적 사유와 학술사상 - ‘독락(獨樂)’과 ‘리(理)’중시 경향을 중심으로 = Hoejae Yi Eun-jeok' Dohak and Philosophy of Neo-Confucianism - Centered on Doglak and Li Philosophical Tendency -

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this paper, I examine the character of Doak that Yi Eun-jeok aimed and analyze the philosophy of Confucianism that theoretically supported his Doak.Through this process, I will show that the discussion of Neo-Confucian philosophy such as 'Mugeuktaegeukbyeon', which Yi Eun-jeok learned, is reflected in his thoughts and practices and is revealed as a life attitude like 'Dokrak'. Yi Eun-jeok observes his Dohak through many ups and downs as he lives through the era of saga. He pursued Dohak with Cho Kwang-jo, which was the mainstream in Jungjong’s reign, but walking on another path shows that Dohak was different. However, his pursuit of Doglak when he returned to his hometown after Gimyosahwa and taught students while studying Sohak shows the Dohak's practice of Dokseon. One of the important factors that Yi Eun-jeok' Dohak could be mentioned in the Dotong line was the academic achievement of his excellent pilosophy of neo-Confucianism. Yi Eun-jeok participated in the 'Mugeuktaegeuk' debate, which was discussed by Son Jung-don and Joe Han-bo, and conducted the first Philosophy of Neo-Confucianism debate in Korean Confucian History. In this argument, the 'Li Philosophical Interpretation' of 'Taegeuk', which Yi Eun-jeok raised, played a decisive role in establishing the Li Philosophy genealogy of Korean Confucianism in the future. In addition, by strongly criticizing the thoughts of Buddhism or Taoism, which were still present in this debate, it clearly shows the viewpoint of criticism of heresy to protect Confucian values and ideology.
