The goal of this study is to understand the complexity of contextual influences on child development. This study focuses on researching the various development models. The two factors(potentialities and environments) are essential to any development process. The contribution of these two factors is interactive and transactive as well as active. All the developments are shaped into a similar model. The degree of important contributions of these two factors were examined through several types of development model, that is, deterministic constitutional model, deterministic environmental model, interactionist model, and reciprocal interaction model. The social regulatory model of child development was examined, too. This model is influenced by the larger environmental elements due to the participation of regulatory system to the process of development. This research enables us to have the basis of the more complex paradigm certainly and can help us understand the interaction between child development and environment better. Furthermore, we can get a better understanding of the process of development by estimating the working of the regulatory system of Three R`s(remediation, redefinition, and reeducation).
