士小節에 나타난 雅亭의 敎育改革思想 = A Study on Educational Reformation thought of Ah-Jung through Sa-So-Jeul

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 '한국의 소학'이라 일컬어지는 중요한 고전인 '사소절'에 수용된 교육사상을 구명하였다. 사소절의 교육목적은 인륜을 통하여 사람다운 기본자질을 지키는데 두고 유년기부터 예절을 어기는 일이 없도록 철저히 교육하여 어질고 선한 버릇을 길러, 개인적으로는 인격을 도야하고 사회적으로 훌륭한 공민이 되도록 하였다.
당시의 교육이 문자를 익히고 문장을 해독하며 그 글에 내포된 철학을 배우고 말과 행동을 통하여 실천하는 일이 연계적으로 이루어져서 성현을 본받도록 하는 것이 교육의 목적이기 때문에 사소절 역시 성현의 가르침과 언행을 본받아 '사(士), 군자(君子)를 지향하는 유가의 이상적 인간상으로는 육성하는 것이 교육의 목적이었다.
교육방법으로는 교육자의 모범과 피교육자의 수용 자세를 역설하였다. 쉬운 일부터 가르치고 난 후에 복잡하고 어려운 것을 가르쳐야 한다고 했고 취미와 적성을 중시하여 타고난 지혜와 재능에 따라 교육할 것이며 천편일률적인 교육을 해서는 안 된다고 하였으며, 당시의 교육방법으로 문제가 되는 것 중의 한 가지는 극기와 자제를 통하여 인격완성을 도모한 일이다. 어린이의 자유분방한 행동을 철저히 자제시켜 성인을 기준으로 언행을 통제하였다. 이러한 엄격한 통제로 근엄한 행동거지를 하게 하는 일이 사, 군자를 기르는 방법으로 생각했다. 이러한 교육이 현대인들에게 노인양산교육으로 부정적 평가를 받는 까닭이기도 하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

1. Purpose
The purpose of this study is to exams the aspect of the Sa-So-Jeul.
This thesis shall attest to the contribution and the social status as the educational function.
To attain this purpose. I divided under giving heading. It is as the following ;
1) To study the course which replaced the moral education by Sa-So-Jeul.
2) To study the role and the contents of Sa-So-Jeul.
3) To study the moral education of Sa-So-Jeul that give the opportunity of education to the whole nations
4) To study the process of development from Sa-So-Jeul to modern education in twentieth century
5) To study how to cope with a difficulty for restoration of moral education.
2. Contents of study
1) To study the relative importance of education and the social cultural background of Sa-So-Jeul.
2) To study the meaning of the history of education on basis of the process of changes and social importance of Sa-So-Jeul
3) To study the educational implication on the basic of the social role and object of Sa-So-Jeul
This study reached the conclusion the Sa-So-Jeul was a meaning fully important and influential system for educational development.
