기억의 윤리, 정의의 회복: 화해를 위한 한일 가톨릭 교회의 역할 = An Ethics of Memory and Restoration of Historical Injustice: the Role of Catholic Churches of Korea and Japan for the Reconciliation

This article outlines the Catholic principles of significant elements in repairing the historical injustices and past wrongdoings committed by Japanese colonialism. In order to do that, the article provides an overview of how a Catholic social ethics of the reconciliation and restoration can contribute to the way in which both the Catholic communities of Korea and Japan have been continued to pursue the Catholic peacebuilding. In the proposal for the social ethics of reconciliation, the themes of duty and responsibility, transitional and restorative justice, an ethics of memory, and an ongoing practice of a faith- community are discussed with six harms and rectifying practices for reconciliation and restoration.
