동아시아 문화교류(文化交流)와 한국한문학(韓國漢文學) ; 원중거의 일본체험, 그 의의와 한계-『화국지』를 중심으로 = Won Junggeo`s Experience in Japan, its Meaning and Limitation -Focusing on 『Hwagukji』

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

『Hwagukji』 written by Junggeo, Won who is a clerk of the 11th Kyemisahaeng in 1763 includes the general information and materials for Japan based on the experience of writer. Junggeo. Won`s experience in Japan, included in 『Hwaguji』 expresses thought and view of Joseon`s classical scholar in the latter half of the 18th century and this paper considered the meaning and limitation. The content for Japan and Japanese, which is seen newly, is significant. Junggeo. Won relieves the existed negative awareness for Japanese by distinguishing Thusima people and insiders. And he observed and recorded Japanese culture of technology in detail and insisted that we must not consider Japan as barbarians anymore with transformation of Munpung recently. But, it includes the serious limitation for knowing Japan correctly with new sight. Although Japan seeds the bud of internationalization by importing the Western culture from Ahranta through Nagasaki. Japan. Junggeo, Won didn`t sense effects Japan was made by the West by setting in the Confucian culture of Korea, China and Japan. It means the limitation of Joseon`s classical scholar who didn`t keep up with international news.
