This study tries to figure out the reality of adolescents who attend family voluntary service and to measure their realized level of family health and self-identity, then it attempts to understand how differs between family health and self-identity according to family voluntary service variable and sociology of population variable. Also, this study tries to see what are the variables which affect to adolescents' family health and self-identity, who attended family voluntary service.
To achieve these goals, this study did a survey targeting 225 students, who lived 6 Gus such as Jung-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seongdong-gu, Mapo-gu, Dongjak-gu, Jongno-gu among 25 Gus in Seoul, from a first grader in middle school to 3rd grader in high school students. For analysis, this study did frequency analysis, descriptive statics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis, using SPSS 18.0. The results are as follows; first, adolescents who attended family voluntary service could be expected to realized high level of family health as their school record are high, as they attend family voluntary service regularly, as their volunteer duration are not long and as their satisfaction after they attended family voluntary service.
Second, it could be expected that adolescents who attended family voluntary service realized high level of self-identity, as their school record are high and as their satisfaction after they attended family voluntary service.
Based on these result of an actual analysis, to improve level of family health and self-identity for adolescents who attend family voluntary service, this thesis suggested as follows; Above all, it requires to award high points to family voluntary service than common voluntary service, to design program which consider families' specialties and various demands and to promote about effect of family voluntary service. Also, it needs to reinvigorate family voluntary program that allows to resolve problems of family and adolescent and to achieve a goal as nature education through continuous voluntary service.
The result of this study can revitalize family voluntary service from now on and contribute to improve family health and self-identity to adolescents who attend family voluntary service.
