우빠니샤드의 철학적 대화와 힌두철학의 전형성

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글에서는 우빠니샤드의 철학적 대화가 가진 특징을 살펴보고 그 특징이 힌두철학의 전형성 형성에 미친 영향을 살펴본다. 먼저 우빠니샤드의 철학적 대화는 ‘계시적인 가르침을 통한, 진리의 진리에 대한 지식의 직접적 재현’이라고 요약될 수 있다. 그리고 이 철학적 대화는 후대에 해탈 중심적인 힌두철학이 전개되는 데 원천으로서 기능하고 있다. 이를 구체적으로 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 우빠니샤드의 철학적 대화는 인도에서 철학적 대화의 원형이다. 둘째, 이 대화는 후대의 해탈 중심적 힌두철학의 전형성을 낳은 맹아이다. 셋째, 해탈 중심적 힌두철학의 전형성은 전통 보존주의, 계시의 절대화와 이성에 대한 불신, 실체론적 존재론, 지식 중심주의, 진리의 경험적 재현 등으로 특징지어지는데, 우빠니샤드의 철학적 대화는 그러한 전형성의 시원적 모형 즉 원형이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Two subject-matters are discussed in this article, i.e., the characteristics of philosophical dialogue in Upani？ads and its influence on the typicalness of Hindu philosophy. First of all, it can be epitomized that the philosophical dialogue of Upani？ads is to be described as an immediate reproduction of knowledge on 'the truth of truth' by means of revelational teaching. Besides, this dialogue serves as an origin by which the liberation-oriented Hindu philosophy is developed after ages. All the details would be set in order as follows; firstly, the philosophical dialogue in Upani？ads is an archetype of philosophical dialogue in India. Secondly, this dialogue is a germination that gives birth to the typicalness of liberation-oriented Hindu philosophy. Thirdly, as a result, this dialogue is an original model or an archetype of that very typicalness which are to be specialized such as conservatism on tradition, making revelation being absolute, discredit on reasoning, substantial ontology, knowledge-focused soteriology, empirical reproduction of the truth, etc.
