This study investigates residents' satisfaction with the living environment of Care Assurance Housing and analyzes the surrounding neighborhood environment to evaluate whether these housing units are designed to be age-friendly. The subjects of this study are three Care Assurance Housing units in Ansan-si and their residents. Research methods include a survey assessing 'health status,' 'social relationships,' and 'internal and external housing environments,' along with a field investigation focusing on the 'walking environment' and 'accessibility by distance.' According to the survey, 47.4% of respondents reported an improvement in their health, and 84.3% indicated an improvement in social relationships. Satisfaction scores for the living environment were 3.31 for the external environment, 3.79 for the internal environment, and 4.30 for barrier-free elements. The field investigation indicates that accessibility to subway stations, welfare centers, and public health centers is inadequate. Additionally, some housing units require improvements, such as ensuring sufficient sidewalk width and installing level walkways.
