Purpose: The purpose of this study is to seek ways to improve the literacy teacher training curriculum in order to improve the professional autonomy of literacy teachers. Method: Literature analysis were conducted on the status and system of literacy education teacher training and survey and FGI were conducted to analyze the awareness and demand of literacy teachers' training. Results: In accordance with the demands of social change, the literacy education teacher training curriculum was shifted from content-oriented to competency-oriented. In accordance with the awareness and demand of literacy education teachers, local training institutions expanded their autonomous hours, differentiated the elementary and middle school curriculum, and remotely The expansion of class hours was reflected in the training curriculum. Conclusion: An online support system and cooperation with local training institutions can support the improved literacy education teacher training curriculum.
