‘활용사’의 설정과 하위분류 = Korean Verb and it's Subcategory

Lee Jung-Tag. 2007. Korean Verb and it's Subcategory. Korean Semantics, 24. Korean adjective is totally different from English one, because it can be predicate by itself and represent grammatical category by conjugation. In these respects Korean adjective is very similar to verb.
But up until, now almost all the Korean grammarians have set up this lexical group as a separate part of speech in Korean. In this paper, such categorization as above will be re-examined and it will be made clear that Korean adjective group should not be classified as such. It can only be a subcategory of Korean verb. In this paper this lexical group will be called as state verb. So there should be another group, namely action verb group as a subcategory of it. Then some verbs have both of action verb and state verb conjugation. This double-used group should be regarded as third subcategory of Korean verb.
