If the primary purpose of education can be defined as the perfection of man, there should first of all be established the direction of education and there should also be presented its method.
The perfection of man needs the cultivating character and the pursuing knowledge, but the college education of today has a tendency to put more emphasis on the latter, and neglects the formation of the right values.
The data are based on the investigation and analysis of the 319 Sang Myung Women's college students' viewpoints of college life, religion, philosophy of life, and others. This paper aims to be of some help to the college education.
