수원시 마을만들기 시민교육 프로그램의 특성|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 수원시 마을만들기 추진과정에서 시민교육 프로그램의 특성을 분석하여 시사점을 도출하는 것이 목적이다. 연구사례인 수원시 마을학교 프로그램 2개 팀을 참여관찰과 심층면접을 통해 분석한 결과 수원 마을만들기 추진체계 속에서 ‘마을학교 프로그램’은 다음과 같은 특성이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 첫째, 마을학교 프로그램은 수원시 마을만들기 사업을 지원하는 프로그램이다. 둘째, 마을학교 프로그램은 마을계획과 실천사업을 연계하는 프로그램이다. 셋째, 이러한 마을학교 프로그램은 주민주도와 행정주도 마을만들기를 접합한 형태이다. 넷째, 마을학교 프로그램은 시민과 같은 아마추어를 위한 기회제공의 프로그램이다. 다만, 마을학교 프로그램을 통해 수립된 마을계획이 아직 유형으로 나타나기보다 마을차원의 논의에 머무르는 수준이다. 따라서 향후 추진된 마을계획안들의 유형화 분석을 함께 시도한다면 수원형 시민교육 프로그램의 모델을 보여줄 수 있는 연구사례가 될 것으로 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of citizen education program as a part of the community design in Suwon city and to find their implications. This study, based on two cases, took the methods of participant observation and in-depth interview of Suwon city’s Community-Renaissance Academy Program(CRAP). As the results, the ‘CRAP’ showed following characteristics. First, the CRAP is the program to support the community design projects of Suwon city. Second, the CRAP is the program that linked the community planning to practical businesses. Third, such CRAP is a form that connects resident-driving community design with government-driving community design. Fourth, the CRAP is the program that provided opportunities for amateurs such as citizens. However, the community planning established through the CRAP measure needs further discussion. If a typological analysis on the community plans is conducted together in the future, it is expected to be a research case that can show a model of Suwon-type citizen education program.
