This research is concerned about affirmative and negative factors of fairy tales remaining in adult`s memory. By analyzing response of undergraduates on the impressions, effects, and contents of fairy tales, we intend to get indices of effective guidance and selection of fairy tales and systemize educational activities through them. To achieve this purpose, we examine the understanding on fairy tales of 408 undergraduates using structured questionnaire based upon preliminary-open questionnaires. The results are as follows: First, affirmative impressions of fairy tales revealed higher than negative. Second, affirmative effects of fairy tales showed more than negative. Third, fairy tales contained both affirmative and negative contents.
