중학생의 진로탐색 프로그램이 진로성숙, 의사결정확신 및 고등학교선택에 미치는 효과 = The Effects of Career Exploration Program on the Vocational Maturity, Decision Making Confirmation, and Choice of High School of Junior High School Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of the study was to examine the effects of a career exploration program for students of Junior High School upon their career maturity, the degree of confirmation of decsion making and choice of high school. For this study, one experimental group and one control group, composed of 20 Junior High School students in total, were organized and treatment was conducted on this experimental group.The experimental group, composed of 10 students attended group career exploration program for 12sessions during 8 weeks. In each session 2 hour long session was conducted. The control group, composed of 10 students, received no treatment at all. These two groups turned out to be all homogenous by statistical testing.The instrument used were a Korea version of Career Maturity Scale, Decion Making Confirmation Scale, Students Opinion Survey Scale and Self-evaluation Form. Career Maturity Scale korean Version was developed by Kim (1999) based on the original version of Career Maturity Scale(CMS)The result of the study showed that the effects of the program upon participants`career maturity, confirmation degree of decision making, choice of high school were statistically significant. Based on the results of this study, future studies are needed to develope career exploration program included for students' parents.
