Daylight in building is used in different conditions such as special regional time. date and sky conditions. Daylight is not only superior to artificial light in efficiency. but provides comfort surrounding for residents by naturally changing interior illuminance. As a factor of the discomfort senses of sight. Daylight induced to interior space created discomfort glare. and daylight exposed long time may bring about poor eyesight. In developed country. parameters of discomfort glare. discomfort sensations were analyzed by evaluation experiments and the evaluated equations of discomfort glare were proposed. However, the basic experiment and the parameters were not adequate enough and all of the subjects were the European. so it is possible that there are errors in this equations of discomfort glare. The study of the errors about DGI equation has been examined by the sensitivity analysis. but the value of the errors has not been analyzed by numerical analysis. Therefore. the aim of this study is to present the adjusted basic data and to make up (or the weak point of the DGI equation. This study proceeding is as follows. 1) The analysis of previous study about UGH. PGSV. DGI was executed. 2) The evaluation experiment contained various parameters used in previous study was executed. 3) In order to ~Ive the questions of DGI evaluation found in previous study, the connection with the parameters and the relation of Discomfort Glare Sensations or the relative influences were analyzed. In conclusion, the main factors of discomfort glare influence are in order source luminance(Ls), the distance of light source(R). the horizontal offset from the line of sight(H) the direction of the line of sight, the modified solid angle(Ω), background luminance(Lb) When the source luminance is lower than 5.000cd/㎥ the relation between the solid angle(ψ) and the discomfort glare sensations is showed. but with the higher source luminance. the relation between the solid angle and the discomfort glare sensations is obscure. so it is not. correct to take solid angle into the discomfort glare evaluated equation.
