질병, 스트레스, 및 직무결과 간의 영향과정: 당뇨병 근로자 대상의 생리심리사회적 접근 = The Relationship among Illness, Stress, and Work Outcome: A Biopsychosocial Perspective for Employee with Diabetes

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 조직에 고용된 근로자의 건강문제가 직무행동에 부정적인 결과로 나타나는 현상을 생리심리사회적(biopsychosocial) 관점에서 접근하여, 구체적인 신체질병과 그에 따라 나타나는 정서적 경험을 포함하는 모형을 고찰하였다. 이 모형은 당뇨병을 가진 근로자가 특수하게 느끼는 긴장(당뇨병관련 긴장)이 결과변인인 직무탈진과 일-건강 갈등에 미치는 영향을 제안하였으며, 당뇨병관련 긴장이 선행변인인 당뇨병 증세와 가식지각의 영향을 매개하는 효과를 포함하였다. 172명의 당뇨병 근로자를 대상으로 당뇨병 증세를 검사하고 설문조사를 실시하여 데이터를 수집하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 통하여 제안한 모형을 검증한 결과는 본 연구의 모형을 대체로 지지하였다. 당뇨병관련 긴장은 두 선행변인의 영향을 받으며 두 결과변인에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 영향과정에서 당뇨병관련 긴장은 부분 및 완전 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 당뇨병의 특징상 병과 관련된 정서적 경험이 직무행동과 질병호전에 상당한 영향을 미치므로 본 연구에서 밝힌 결과를 기초로 직장인의 질병관리를 위한 조직의 역할에 대한 시사점을 제공하였다.
