大學캠퍼스에서의 建築群 構成에 관한 硏究 = A Study on the construction of the Outdoor Space Enclosed by Building in the University Campus

The outdoor space enclosed by buildings in the university campus terminalizes the area formed by it as well as connecting the functions each building has organically, so it induces the various activities needed for information exchange or social life and accepts them.
Therefore, this study selects 8 campuses respectively in Korea and Japan and obtains the following results after examining and analyzing the forms of buildings and the structure of the outdoor space enclosed by buildings through the facility layout.
1. The construction of the outdoor space enclosed by buildings is divided into the systematic corresponding type and circumstantial corresponding type. While the systematic corresponding type in the form of building is variously shown as - and L types, Circumstantial Corresponding type shows mostly - and ㅁ type.
2. In the pattern of the outdoor space enclosed by building, the former has mostly the regular construction, but Circumstantial Corresponding type has many irregular constructions.
3. In Korea, the outdoor space enclosed by buildings is scallered and arranged as the independent pattern and has not the organic connection among the outdoor spaces enclosed by buildings, but in Japan they are organically connected and the entire campus makes an outdoor space enclosed by buildings.
4. In the case of Japan, the outdoor space enclosed by buildings is connected hierarchically and organically by the linear or encircling media, but in Korea there is often the maintenance of independence rather than hierarchy or connection.
