    This paper deals with the comparative analysis of symbolic images of ‘Horse’ by the Mongolians & Koreans. It is a study about the kind of roles the ‘horse’ played in the life style & history and the space it holds in the livelihood of both Mongolians & Koreans. In this context, it is a comparison focusing on the similarities & dissimilarities between the images of horse in the two countries. The research outcomes point out a good amount of similarities and dissimilarities. As one of the examples of the similarities, we can find, in both the Mongolian & Korean oral literature, horse has an image of a spiritually divine creature, conceiving the unity with heaven Both the races consider horse as a truly divine creature, an animal with miraculous skills and is always being served as one of the object of veneration. This paper presents a Korean language Education plan for the Mongolian students with the 객plication of oral literary works with the focus on the symbolic image of ‘Horse’ as a method for Korean cultural education.
