경찰관의 외상사건과 PTSD의 관계에서 레질리언스의 매개효과 검증

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 경찰관의 외상사건이 PTSD에 어떠한 영향을 미치며, 레질리언스가 이 들 변수들 사이에 매개하는 효과가 있는 지를 고찰하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 또한 연 구모형의 인과관계에서 직위수준과 경과에 따라 경로계수에서 집단 간 차이가 있는지 를 추가로 확인하고자 하였다. 조사의 대상은 전국의 경찰관 254명을 대상으로 설문 조사한 자료를 활용하여 구조방정식 모형으로 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구의 주요결 과로는 첫째, 경찰관의 외상경험이 높을수록 PTSD 증상에 유의미하게 증가하였다. 둘째, 경찰관의 레질리언스는 PTSD 증상을 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 외상 사건이 경찰관의 PTSD에 영향을 미치는데 있어서 레질리언스가 부분매개하는 효과 가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 외상사건과 PTSD의 관계에서 레질리언스가 매개하 는 경로에서 경사이하의 집단과 경위 이상의 집단 간에 유의미한 차이를 보여주었다. 그러나 경과별 집단차이를 보이지 않았다. 이를 토대로 본 연구에서는 경찰관의 PTSD를 감소시키기 위해서는 직접적으로 외상사건을 다루는 개입뿐만 아니라, 높은 수준의 레질리언스를 가질 수 있도록 하는 경찰관의 정신건강 증진방안을 제시했다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to that traumatic work events have bad effect to the symptoms of PTSD among policemen. and their resilience have mediate effect on relationship between on traumatic work events and PTSD. Additionally, this study was made certain that there were difference between the two groups in path coefficient by police rank and type of duty. The survey included 254 Policemen from all over the country using the structural equation modeling. The major findings of the study as follows: First, the traumatic work event has a positive effect on PTSD. Seconds, the Resilience has a negative effect on PTSD. third, the resilience has a weak mediation effect a traumatic work event on PTSD. Fourth, the relation between traumatic work event and PTSD among higher resilience of policemen showed significant difference by their rank not type of duty. In the conclusion, this study presented several ways to prevent mental health of policemen regarding to PTSD. the authors discussed that it must to be very important to provide educational program keeping their higher resilience for policemen. it is also needed to minimize the influence of traumatic work event through dealing with it directly .
