This study is the empirical analysis of the relation between the attributes of instructor and the teaching effectiveness of economics. As a result of the study. we discovered 「presentation ability/incentive」 is the most important attribute of economics instructor to improve teaching effectiveness, Moreover, we used an ordered probit model to compute how an 1-point increase in each attribute would affect the probability of an instructor receiving certain effectiveness ratings. As a result of this. the likelihood of his or her receiving an excellent effective rating would most increase when an instructor improves 「intellectual/scholary」 in case of the male who majors in economics in comparison with economics non-major. The likelihood of his or her receiving an excellent effective rating would most increase when an economics instructor improves「presentation ability/incentive」 in case of the male who doesn`t major in economics in comparison with economics major.
