A fully-integrated, flipped voltage follower (FVF)-based low dropout regulator (LDO) supporting a 100-mV dropout voltage is presented in this paper. By utilizing a super source follower (SSF), the proposed LDO achieves a fast transient response of 70-ns settling time while supporting a load current of 10-200 mA. Owing to a high-gain error amplifier loop, the LDO shows an excellent load regulation accuracy of 0.0027 mV/mA and a high PSR of -39 dB. The prototype LDO is designed in a 28-nm CMOS process.
