This paper attempts to diagnose Ryu Seong-ryong’s personality and leadership in terms of the whole-person leadership, based on the Enneagram method.
This paper is the 2nd issue, following the first issue, published in the 7th volume of the Seo-ae Yongu.
The first issue tried to explain the tool of Enneagram method, and found that his main pattern of Enneagram is the number 1 of Perfectionist based on the raw material written by him.
This paper, the 2nd issue, analyzed his leadership growth cycle if he utilized the proper cycle of No. 1 pattern thru No.4 patters to No.7 pattern. And then, this paper also analyzed the right wing, No,2 and left wing, No.9 The major finding is that while his main pattern of Ennegram is the number 1 Body energy, he also fully utilized the number 4 heart energy as well ad number 7 head energy.
Also, he fully utilized the right wing number 2 pattern, as well as left wing number 9 pattern.
It is important to note that it is difficult to discern whether his main pattern is whether number 1, or number 4, or number 7. His is not fixed to any single number of pattern because he is well developed in balanced manner in his personality and leadership.
While his main pattern is body energy, he is not fixed to the body energy only, he is a poem utilizing number 4 patter, he is a strategic, insightful idea man in commanding the warfare.
Most of laymen tend to stick to a single number of pattern, at best, utilize right or left wing number only.
In contrast, Ryu Seong-ryong tended to utilize the head, heart and body energy in balance, for which his might be regarded as an example of the whole-person leadership based on the Enneagram method.
In this regard, this paper concludes that Ryu Seong-ryong shows an original and unique pattern of personality and leadership.
