새로운 무보법의 개발 방향에 관한 기초연구 = A Fundamental Study on Developing New Movement Notation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The aim of this study is to develop new movement notation. To develop new movement notation, to study about dance notation is effective and valuable in advance. Because dance field perceived necessity to notate human bodily action early, then dance notations have developed and evolved steadily, since the first dance notation published by Marguerite d'Autriche in 1460.
Although high tech recording system have developed, movement notation to record human bodily action is still important why human bodily actions consist complex mechanism. It's not easy to notate for choreography, performance and notate it even though it utilizes an researches on another industrial fields like robotics, animation, simulation and game design vigorously. Then, to grasp of the problem research and analyze Rudolf von Laban, Pierre Conte, Rudolf Benesh, Eshkol & Wachmann and North Korea's movement notation through consonants and vowels. The result of research, Hangul and Hangul vowel and consonant would be a substitute as a interface to notate human bodily action.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 동작을 기록하는 새로운 방법을 개발하는 것이다. 새로운 무보법을 개발하기 위해서 무용 기록법을 연구한다는 것은 효과적이고 가치 있는 일이다. 왜냐하면 무용분야에서 먼저 인간의 동작을 기록하는 필요성을 인식하였으며 1460년 마귀리트 도트리슈(Marguerite d'Autriche)에 의해 개발된 이후 지속적으로 개발되고 진화되어 왔기 때문이다.
첨단 기록장치가 많이 개발되었음에도 불구하고 복잡한 매커니즘으로 이루어지는 인간의 동작을 기록하는 무보법(movement notation)은 여전히 중요하며 또한 로보틱스, 애니메이션, 시뮬레이션, 게임디자인 등 다른 산업분야에서 활용되고 연구되어지고 있으나 대부분의 무보법이 안무를 위해 기록하고, 재연되는 동작을 기록하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제해결을 위해 Rudolf von Laban, Pierre Conte, Rudolf Benesh, Eshkol & Wachmann 등의 4대 무보법과 북한의 자모식 무보법을 조사하여 분석하고 문제점을 파악하였다. 조사와 분석결과 동작을 기록하는 방법으로 인터페이스적인 접근이 필요하며 한글과 한글 자모와 대안일 수 있음을 발견할 수 있었다.
