      The participatory government proceeded a lot of policies and measures for stability of housing price and improvement of common people’s residential level, but it is judged not to be a great success as president cleared.
      After the analysis of the present situation, this article focuses on deriving policy direction of actual regional dimension and strategic subject considering Gyeonggi Province.
      Though absolute housing shortage almost settled by dint of promotion of supply centered housing policy, continuous housing supply is still needed. For this, Gyeonggi-do has to lead to pursue application of a various supply method like reconstruction of deteriorated residential area and development of new dwelling place like townhouse.
      Add this, it is necessary to promote rental house supply policy actively for residential stability and propel policy reduces a charge of housing expenses for the lowest income bracket with supporting housing price.
      Meanwhile, we have to request of reorganization of centralized housing supply system that goes not by regional demand but by quota of the amount.
      With promotion of these policies, Gyeonggi-do will confront with disutility of centralized system and improve the ability to deal with regional demand through housing supply increase and housing price stability by development of preexistence town, improvement of residential level by development of residential space copes with a new demand, housing stability for the people by rental houses and housing cost support, and housing supply system that is suitable for local demand.
