A case of acute pancreatitis as a complication of mumps, which is rare in adults, was clinically observed. A 27 years old house wife presented sudden severe epigastric paim which radiated to left shoulder, back and flank, nausea and vomiting during hospitalization for the teratment of mumps. She was completely recovered by conservative therapy for 15 days.
