In this paper, the low power surface mount PIN diode phase shifter has been used for phased array antenna. The phase shifter has been designed by 3-bit of 45°, 22.5°, and 11.25° using the loaded-line circuits. The measurement is performed in the frequency range from 1.885GHz to 2.2㎓ covering up-link and down-link of IMT-2000. The results have shown good agreement within ±1.5° phase error for each bit, and within average ±60° phase error at the center frequency. The average insertion loss is -2.81 ㏈ at the center frequency. The average insertion loss for each stage is -0.94㏈.
