영남지역 사부 고문헌 자료의 번역 현황과 과제 = Current State and Tasks of Translation Works about Ancient historical Texts written by Chinese Characters relating with Yeong-nam Province.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This article aims at examination of the translated works among the ancient historical texts and documents be excavated in Yeong-nam province and then considering for tasks of translation about ancient historical texts written by Chinese characters. This research comes under a part of the comprehensive researches relating with translation work. First of all, this article introduces the current state of research classified by themes the translation texts and documents relating with Yeong-nam province among historical part of DB system made in Institute for the translation of Korean Classic. And then this article supplemented the lists of the translated works after DB system and suggested the lists of the texts requesting translation work by themes. And this offers caution and the direction on making a translation. On translating, it follows some cautions and notices. First, it needs the accurate informations about the objective work demand for translation. Second, on translating a historical part, it needs publication of the annotated edition containing local and geographical informations. Third, it needs co-work between historian and researcher of Chinese literature: the scholars of Chinese literature carry to translation the original text and then Historians try to supplement historical interpretation about the translated work. Fourth, it needs the establishing of DB system about translators. The fifth, it had better do grouping work than individual work because the grouping work can attain the objective faster than individual work. It follow notices about the direction of translation projects. First, the educated special translators have to be employed as a full-time researcher in Institutes for the translation. Second, the translation project of the classic historical texts has to link with the developing of various cultural contents.
