<현몽쌍룡기>와 <조씨삼대록>의 웃음의 서사 미학 = Narrative esthetics of laughter in the Hyunmongssangyonggi and Jossisamdaerok

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyse narrative elements of laughter creation and discuss narrative esthetics in the Hyunmongssangyonggi and Jossisamdaerok. The laughter in the Hyunmongssangyonggi and Jossisamdaerok is created from conversations, deviant behavior of characters and construction of particular narrative motif. First, bringing out weakness of male characters creates degrading laughter against social norms and authorities. This laughter shows the esthetics of reversibility in the text. Commenting on family members creates sympathetic laughter on inner and outer beauties. This laughter shows esthetics of refinement in the text. Narration on deviant behavior of bad man and inferior female characters creates remedial laughter on vice and inferiority. This laughter shows esthetics of superiority in the text. Narration on deviant behavior of male characters and motif of collusion and deception creates esthetics of relaxation on sadness and daily life. This laughter shows esthetics of playfulness in the text. The sympathetic laughter on inner and outer beauties and the refinement are world of laughter and esthetics related to hierarchical aesthetic consciousness of a group who enjoys the novels. The remedial laughter on vice and inferiority and the superiority are world of laughter and esthetics related to sense of ethics. However, the degrading laughter against social norms and authorities and the refinement and the esthetics of relaxation on sadness and daily life and the playfulness are world of laughter and esthetics related to realistic and playful awareness that try to escapes from the social norms and typicality.
