      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study examines usage motivation of mobile social network services (SNS) based on the smartphone. Most previous literature has discussed characteristics of SNS based on the internet. However, this study investigates the relationships between users’ motivation such as stress reduction, SNS curiosity, social relationship, and information sharing and usage of mobile SNS. We also study the influence of mobile SNS usage on life quality and the moderating effects of network size. Data from 255 respondents were used for analysis, and structural equation modelling was used to test the research model using SmartPLS 3.0. The results indicated that stress reduction, SNS curiosity, and social relationship significantly contributed in influencing usage of mobile SNS. The moderating effect of network size between usage of mobile SNS and life quality was found. The findings suggest that organizations based on the mobile should focus on how to deal with users’ motivation of mobile SNS. The results shows that researchers focused on the smartphone-based mobile SNS should consider the connection situation between mobile SNS and real word.
