The purpose of this study was to analysis of the childcare teachers' perceptions for integrative childcare for children with special needs. This study was conducted with 540 childcare teachers working at day-care centers in Pusan. Date obtained from the questionnaire survey were compared and analyzed with the numbers and percents of each competency category and through x².
The findings of the questionnaire survey are summarized as follows.
First, the numbers of childcare teacher attending integrative education for children with special needs were almost five-fold less than the numbers of those who did not attend. Second, more than 60% of childcare teacher were positive position to earmark for daycare center for children with special needs. Third, Almost 75% of childcare teacher did not want to be integrated class teacher. Fourth, the teacher with a license for early childhood educator and early childhood special educator as well as the early childhood teacher with experiences and training for integrated education were considered as a appropriate at integrated class teacher.
