최근 한국 아버지 연구의 동향과 과제 = A Study on the Problem and Trends of Korean Father Research

The purpose of this study was to propose new direction, to clarify methodological problems and trends of Korean father research based on the content analysis of previous studies. To gain this goals, this study analyzed 38 these that were published between 2003 and 2007. The theses were analyzed on 6 aspects-research area, as fellow; First, Korean father's child rearing behavior, child rearing involvement, and fathering. Second, new trend research based on the content analysis of previous studies, and theoretical reviews by analyzed recent Korean father's research. Third, the effect of father's child rearing behavior on child development. Fourth, the images of Korean father mentioned in literature. Finally, the influence of socio-demographic variables on father's child rearing behavior and fathering.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 각족 학회의 학술지에 게재된 최근 한국의 아버지와 관련된 문헌들을 분석, 검토하여 최근 아버지와 관련된 우리나라의 아버지 연구를 체계적으로 분석하여 그 동향의 정리 및 연구 방법론적 문제점을 제시하고, 동시에 앞으로 필요한 아버지 연구의 과제를 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 학술지에 기재된 아버지 관련 논문가운데 가장 최근에 발간된 논문(2003년 이후의 논문) 총 38편(석, 박사 논문은 제외)을 중심으로 그 내용을 분석, 검토하였다. 분석 결과, 그 내용은 다음과 같이 크게 6가지 범주로 나눌 수 있었다. 첫째 아버지의 양육태도나 행동, 역할에 관한 연구, 둘째는 부자관계의 이론적 고찰이나 아버지 연구의 동향에 관한 분석연구, 셋째는 아버지의 양육태도가 아이의 발달에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구, 넷째는 한국 아버지상에 관한 연구, 다섯째는 아버지 역할이나 양육행동에 미치는 요인에 관한 연구, 그리고 마지막으로 기타 연구의 내용으로 나누었다. 이들 연구의 연구 방법론적 문제를 제기하고, 동시에 앞으로 필요한 연구과제도 동시에 제시하였다.
