어머니가 지각한 아버지 양유참여, 자녀가치, 양육지식, 양육스트레스간의 종단적 관계 분석 = A Longitudinal Relationships among Maternal Perception of Father Involvement in child Care, Value of Children, Parenting Knowledge, and Parenting Stress

Using a three-years (2008∼2010) longitudinal sample of 2,089 Korean mothers who raise infants aged between 0 to 2 from Korean Children Panel Survey, this study examined a growth curve model of maternal perception of father involvement in child care, value of children, parenting knowledge, and parenting stress and identified their relationships with AMOS 20.0. As a result, maternal perception of father involvement in child care, parenting knowledge, and parenting stress were increased whereas value of children was decreased as children grow older. Results also found that the initial value of maternal perception of father involvement in child care, value of children, and parenting knowledge behaved as significant predictors on the initial value of parenting stress. In addition, changes of maternal perception of father involvement in child care and value of children had significant effect on the intial changes of parenting stress. In sum, we discussed the theoretical and practical implications of longitudinal relationships among maternal perception of father involvement in child care, value of children, parenting knowledge, and parenting stress.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 영유아기 자녀의 성장(만 5.58개월∼만 25.75개월)에 따른 어머니가 지각한 아버지 양육참여, 자녀가치, 양육지식, 양육스트레스의 변화패턴을 알아보고, 아버지 양육참여, 자녀가치, 양육지식이 양육스트레스에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 종단적으로 분석하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 육아정책연구소에서 주관하여 3차년에 걸쳐 실시된 한국아동패널의 2,089명의 종단 데이터를 활용하여 잠재성장모형으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 자녀가 성장함에 따라 어머니가 인식하는 아버지 양육참여, 양육 지식, 양육스트레스는 증가하는 경향이 나타난 반면, 자녀가치는 감소하는 경향이 나타났다. 둘째, 시간의 변화에 따른 아버지 양육참여, 자녀가치, 양육지식이 양육스트레스에 미치는 종단적 영향력을 확인한 결과, 양육스트레스 초기값에 아버지 양육참여, 자녀가치, 양육지식 초기값 모두가 유의한 영향을 미친 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 어머니의 양육스트레스 변화율을 예측하는 변인은 아버지 양육참여와 자녀가치 변화율인 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 양육스트레스 연구 분야의 이론적 확장과 실천적 함의에 대해 논의하였다.
