기술보고서의 서지적 데이터 요소 개발을 위한 메타데이터 비교 연구 = A Study on the Metadata to Develop Bibliographic Data Elements for Technical Reports

국문 초록 (Abstract)

기술보고서는 회색문헌의 한 유형으로서 연구조사가 진행 중인 상태이거나 끝난 직후에 기술된 문헌이다. 따라서 학술지보다 최신성이 있으며, 풍부한 내용을 바탕으로 하고 있기 때문에 연구 활동에 필요한 가치 있는 정보를 담고 있다. 본 연구는 기술보고서의 원활한 정보유통 기반을 마련하기 위하여 범용적인 메타데이터 간의 비교테이블을 제시하고 기술보고서의 서지적 특성을 반영한 데이터요소를 제안하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 대표적 기술보고서라고 할 수 있는 NTIS 보고서의 서지적 특성 및 메타데이터를 분석하고, 메타데이터들의 요소간 매핑을 통하여 기술보고서용 메타데이터 필드 개발을 지원하고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

As a kind of grey literature, technical reports are usually written during the research is going on or when just finished. Therefore the technical reports are valuable in terms of their rapidity and abundance in transferring information through their corresponding research communities. This paper addressed the results from comparing metadata formats with each other to make a standard for the efficient information service of technical reports, and proposed bibliographic data elements. As a representative example, the analysis of NTIS reports' bibliographic characteristics and metadata is addressed, in which the mapping between elements of metadata is carried out. The results can be applicable to the development of metadata fields for technical reports.
