SDGs에 기반한 세계시민교육의 도덕교육에의 적용 프로그램 개발 = Development of a program to apply SDGs-based Global Citizenship Education to Moral Education

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study seeks to develop a program that applies global citizenship education based on SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) to moral education classes in the form of project classes. Today, global issues in the global era and globalization have a pan-national character. Global citizenship education is education that fosters the ability to deal with a variety of topics beyond countries and regions, such as pan-national and global perspectives and responsibilities, cultural understanding, and sustainable development. And the Sustainable Development Goals include global challenges that the international community must cooperate to solve. Global citizenship education can play an important role in carrying out the tasks of the Sustainable Development Goals. We would like to develop a global citizenship education program based on SDGs for students living in this era and apply it to moral education classes.
It is conducted in the form of a project class centered on moral subjects and is also conducted in connection with clubs on campus. Surveys, interviews, and portfolio methods are used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program after class.
The results of the study showed that global citizenship education programs based on SDGs have a positive impact on cultivating students' global citizenship. Students accepted individuals as members of the global community rather than being isolated from the world, and based on their new awareness of SDGs, their active attitudes and abilities to put them into practice improved.
