모래상자의 진단적 기능을 통한 성학대 아동의 초기면접에 나타난 특성 = Feature of sexually abused children at initial interview through diagnostic function of sandtray

Recently, the evaluation of sexually abused children or victims of sex crime has been an issue with reinforcement of institution and interest on sexually abused children. As results of clinical or court evaluation have been rejected for lack of evidence, however, there is a pressing need of initial interview tool that can help children make statements. This study will examine whether the sandtray can be used as initial interview tool for sexually abused children and present the diagnosis model and suggestions for improvement of sandtray as an evaluation tool. With regard to study target and method, I carried out initial interview through sandtray on 39 schoolchildren sexually abused and analyzed the features shown in sandtray through formal dimensions such as figure, space layout, configuration form and decoration attitude. As a result, the features based on diagnostic function of sandtray were positively identified through symptoms at sandtray of sexually abused children showing clear difference in terms of quantitative frequency. Further, suggestions for improvement were proposed to reinforce the diagnostic function of sandtray and to structure it as diagnosis tool. This study is the basic study to develop the initial interview evaluation tool for sexually abused children and is the in-process exploration study. In this regard, further studies are required as suggested to establish the tool instruction and to verify the validity of diagnostic tool through structuring of sandtray proposed in this study.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

아동 성학대에 대한 관심과 제도의 정착으로 성폭력/피해 아동에 대한 평가가 쟁점이 되고 있으나 임상적, 법정 평가의 결과들이 법적 장면에서 증거불충분 등으로 기각되는 경우가 많아 아동진술을 도와줄 수 있는 초기면접도구의 필요성이 절실하다. 본 연구는 모래상자가 성학대 아동의 초기면접도구로서 가능한가에 대하여 살펴보고, 평가 도구로서의 모래상자에 대한 개선점과 진단모형을 제안하고자 한다. 연구대상 및 연구방법은 성학대를 받은 학령기 아동 39명에게 모래상자를 이용하여 초기면접을 실시하고 모래상자에 나타난 특성을 피규어, 공간배치, 구성형태, 꾸밈태도 등의 형식적 차원에 따라 분석하였다. 결과 모래상자의 양적 빈도에서 뚜렷한 차이를 보이는 성학대 아동들의 모래상자상의 증후물들과 증후를 통해 진단적 기능에 기초한 특성이 긍정적으로 결과되었으며, 모래상자의 진단적 기능의 강화와 진단도구로서의 구조화를 위한 개선점이 제안되었다.
