다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract) kakao i 다국어 번역

The author investigated changes in the ferritin content of the ovary after birth in immature rabbits and those in the mature rabbits both of which are repeatedly administered with iron, hemoglobin, estradiol, progesterone, cortisone and extracts of placenta and anterior lobe of hypophysis. He observed, further, the effect of unilateral oophorectomy and adrenalectomy on the ferritin content of the ovary.
He discussed the results, and obtained the following conclusions:
    1. The ovary of a rabbit contains a considerable amount of ferritin which can be isolated in crystalline form by cadmium sulfate. The ovarian ferritin crystals are almost uniform in size and light yellowish brown in color. The features are characteristically different from the ferritin crystals of the tissues of rabbit organs
other than ovary, such as liver, spleen and bone marrow.
    22. The ovarian ferritin content of immature rabbits decreases gradually each month and reaches the normal ferritin level of adult ovaries in about the fourth month after birth.
    3. The ovarian ferritin content increases, when the rabbits are administered with iron or hemoglobin solution and decreases, when the rabbits are made anemic by repeated phlebotomies.
    4. In the rabbits with unilateral oophorectomy the ovarian ferritin content increases in the remaining ovary.
    5. The ovarian ferritin content decreases in the rabbits which are repeatedly administered with estrogen while it increases in the rabbits which are repeatedly administered with progesterone.
    6. The ovarian ferritin content increases in the rabbits which are repeatedly administered with placental extract which is free from hormonal substances.
    7. The ovarian ferritin content increases in the rabbits which are repeatedly administered with cortisone and decreases in the rabbits with unilateral adrenalectomy.
    8. The ovarian ferritin content increases in the rabbits which are repeatedly administered with extract of anterior lobe of hypophysis.
    9. On the basis of the above the author concludes that the ovarian ferritin may have a connection with ovarian function as a part of the tissue storage iron and may be under the influence of various hormones.
