장애인국가대표 선수의 은퇴 인식 및 진로지원 방향 탐색 = A study on Exploring retirement awareness and career support for national Para athletes

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore and provide career plans for a successful retirement by deriving awareness and support demands for retirement and career for national para-athletes and retired para-athletes. To achieve this purpose, data were collected through two Delphi surveys and in-depth interviews to understand the perspectives and perceptions of actual retirement based on the experiences of national para-athletes. The first Delphi survey was conducted with 9 people, the second survey with 15 people, and in-depth interviews with 5 former national team players.
In Delphi verification, Excel was used to calculate the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) index to ensure internal consistency, and the SPSS 22 was used to measure Cronbach's α. The results were as follows.
In the first Delphi survey, 22 factors were derived in four parts (6 factors of retirement awareness, 7 factors of hope career, 5 factors of hope career education program, and 4 factors of preparation necessary for retirement). In the second survey, 14 factors in four parts (3 factors of retirement awareness, 4 factors of hope career, 4 factors of hope career education program, and 3 factors of preparation necessary for retirement) were finally derived.
In-depth interviews found 17 concepts as a result of conducting open coding and reintegrated concepts to find 6 subcategories. In addition, according to this result, a total of 2 categories were derived as 'retirement factors of the national para-athlete' and 'career support measure for a successful retirement.'
The result of this study can be used to respond to the demands of national athletes with disabilities in the future and to plan for their careers before and after retirement.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 장애인국가대표 선수와 은퇴선수를 대상으로 은퇴와 진로에 대한 인식 및 지원요구를 도출하여 성공적인 은퇴를 위한 진로방향을 탐색하고 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 이와 같은 목적을 달성하기 위해 장애인국가대표 선수들의 현장에서의 경험을 기반으로 실제적인 은퇴에 대한 관점과 인식을 파악하기 위해 2차에 걸친 델파이 조사와 심층면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 1차 델파이 조사에서는 9명, 2차 조사에서는 15명을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 심층면담은 5명의 전 국가대표 선수출신을 대상으로 실시하였다. 델파이 검증에서는 내적일관성을 확보하기 위해 CVR(Content Validity Ratio) 지수를 산출하기 위해 Excel프로그램을 사용하였고, Cronbach’s α측정을 위해 SPSS 22프로그램을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 델파이 1차 조사에서는 4개 영역 22개 요인(은퇴에 대한 인식 6요인, 희망진로 7요인, 희망진로 교육프로그램 5요인, 은퇴를 위해 필요한 준비사항 4요인)으로 도출되었고, 2차 조사에서 4개 영역 14개 요인(은퇴에 대한 인식 3요인, 희망진로 4요인, 희망진로 교육프로그램 4요인, 은퇴를 위해 필요한 준비사항 3요인)으로 최종 도출되었다. 심층면담 결과는 귀납적범주화를을 실시한 결과 17개의 개념이 발견되었고, 개념을 다시 통합하여 6개의 하위범주를 발견하였다. 그리고 이를 다시 포괄적으로 추상화하여 ‘장애인국가대표선수의 은퇴 요인(경기력저하, 주변인의 은퇴 조언 및 기회제공, 선수라는 직업에 대한 불안함)’,‘성공적인 은퇴를 위한 진로지원 방안(다양한 분야에 대한 경험, 은퇴지원프로그램 강화, 커뮤니티 구성 및 운영)’으로 총 2개의 범주가 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 장애인국가대표 선수들이 은퇴 전·후 진로에 대한 방안에 요구와 대응하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.
