의미연결망 분석을 통한 사회과 교육과정의 이해|RISS 상세보기

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 사회과 교육과정에 제시된 지식조직의 적절성을 분석하였다. 먼저 인지 심리학에서 연구되었던 지식의 구조화와 범주화에 대하여 논하였다. 이것을 바탕으로 사회과 교육과정을 의미연결망으로 구조화하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과 ① 지식 내용의 중첩, ② 지식들 사이의 관계성 결여, ③ 지식 제시 수준(개념의 위계)의 일관성 결여의 문제점을 발견할 수 있었다.
분석 결과는 교육과정의 지식 선정과 조직에 있어 다음과 같은 시사점을 제공한다. 첫째, 교육과정 성취 기준의 서술에 선행하여 선정되는 지식의 구조적 조직화가 필요하다. 둘째, 의미연결망 조직을 통하여 교육과정에서 언급되는 지식들이 어떠한 관계성을 갖고 있는지 따져보아야 한다. 사회과 교육과정의 설계에서 의미연결망을 통한 지식의 조직화는 교수 설계자들에게는 수업의 방향을 명확하게 제시해줄 수 있으며, 학습자들에게는 효과적인 학습을 도울 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research analyzed structure’s appropriateness in knowledge presented in social studies curriculum. First, we discussed about structuring and categorizing of knowledge studied in cognitive psychology. With this discussion, I analyzed social studies curriculum by semantic network.
This research find out ① reiteration of contents, ② lack of meaning relation among knowledges, ③ lacking consistency of concept level.
Analysis result offers following implications for knowledge selection and structuring. First, we need structural organization of knowledge selected for social studies curriculum before description of accomplishment standard.
Second, we must recognize relation of knowledges described by semantic network analysis.
Knowledge organization by semantic network can present definite direction of instruction to teachers and contribute to effective learning to students.
